Monica Braga dos Santos is a Creative Director and Product Designer from Porto, Portugal. Inspired by History and its expression in art and culture, the simplicity and timelessness of Mid-Century Modern style and by the Japanese “sensitivity to things”, she creates delicate, authentic and sensorial designs, which have a life beyond their functional character.
Over the past 15 years, Monica has designed products for high-end and retail brands such as Munna, Vista Alegre and Zara Home.
In 2015, driven by the motivation to contribute to the promotion of Portuguese Design and its Industry, she founded Monica Santos Studio. While providing services for other brands, ‘Serendipity’ tableware was her first studio edition.
